As the school year gets started, I know it can be a hectic time! As I tested my kindergartners this week, one sweet little boy was prompted to "Close a book" to see if he understood the command. He closed his eyes and was looking around, waiting for me to respond. As I sat there I realized that he thought I had asked him to close his eyes. I chuckled and of course told him what I had asked him to do and modeled it for him. Moments like that are good for the soul.
